What we stock from YACHU

• Complete hybrid solar kits: four YACHU systems that pair a lithium battery, a hybrid inverter and 610W bifacial panels, from KSh 90,000 (2.5kWh with a 1.5kW inverter) to KSh 400,000 (10kWh with a 6.2kW inverter and ten panels). Installation is quoted separately unless stated.
• Hybrid inverters: 1.5kW 12V (KSh 27,000), 3.5kW 24V (KSh 33,000) and 6.2kW 48V (KSh 45,000), each with a built-in MPPT solar charger.
• Lithium batteries: 2.5kWh in a 12V and a 24V version (KSh 40,000 each), 5kWh 48V (KSh 95,000) and 10kWh 48V (KSh 160,000). The listings give Grade A CATL cells and 6,000+ cycles.
• Gel and multifunctional batteries: 12V 100Ah gel (KSh 14,000), 12V 200Ah gel (KSh 30,000) and a 12V 100Ah battery with a built-in 200W inverter and charge controller (KSh 20,000).
• Solar panels: monocrystalline from 20W (KSh 1,500) to 375W (KSh 11,000), plus the 610W bifacial panel (KSh 15,000) used in all four kits.
• Small-system parts: 10A, 20A and 30A PWM charge controllers (from KSh 1,500), 300W to 1000W 12V power inverters, and a 1kWh portable power station with a 500W inverter (KSh 45,000).

Which YACHU battery goes with which inverter?

Match the battery voltage to the inverter. The 1.5kW hybrid inverter runs on 12V, the 3.5kW on 24V and the 6.2kW on 48V. That is why the 2.5kWh lithium battery comes as a 12.8V 200Ah and a 25.6V 100Ah version, while the 5kWh and 10kWh batteries are 48V. The four kits are already matched this way.

As a rough guide, the 2.5kWh kits cover lights, TV, Wi-Fi and phone charging through a blackout, and the 6.2kW kits with 5kWh or 10kWh of storage are for bigger loads and longer backup. What a system really runs depends on your appliances and how many hours you use them, so send us your list and we size it with you before you buy.

Lithium or gel?

Lithium costs more up front, but it is lighter, lets you use more of the energy it stores and is listed for 6,000+ cycles. Gel batteries cost less per battery and suit small 12V systems, DC lighting with a PWM controller or tight budgets. For daily use with a YACHU hybrid inverter, lithium is usually the better fit; for a few lights and occasional backup, a gel battery is the cheaper route.

YACHU warranties, as listed

The YACHU listings give 6 years on the lithium batteries, 1 year on the hybrid inverters, 1 year on the 100Ah gel battery, 3 years on the 200Ah gel battery and the power station, and 25 years on the monocrystalline panels (most likely a performance warranty).
