Technics Electricals & Solar delivers solar and electrical hardware to Ongata Rongai and installs hybrid solar and electrical systems for Rongai homes, rentals, shops and offices. Order on WhatsApp, collect from our Kiserian shop, or book free sizing and a site visit.
Ongata Rongai is a busy town of homes, apartments, shops and home offices that all depend on steady power. Kenya Power’s planned-maintenance notices in 2026 have listed parts of Ongata Rongai and Gataka more than once, for example on 21 January and 18 June. A hybrid system keeps the essentials running through those hours.
If you work from home, the router, laptop and lights matter most. As a guide, a 2.5kWh YACHU kit (from KSh 90,000) covers those through an evening, and the 5kWh kit (KSh 300,000) adds a fridge and longer outages. The hybrid inverter switches over automatically when KPLC goes off.
For apartments and rentals, solar floodlights (from KSh 4,000) light stairways, parking and gates without adding to the KPLC bill; mains LED floodlights on a photocell are another option. Ask us to size backup for gates and common lighting.
Ongata Rongai is one of our four delivery areas. Send your list on WhatsApp and we confirm stock, the total and the delivery fee before you pay; fees and lead times are confirmed when you order. Or collect from our counter in Kiserian.
We also do house wiring, consumer-unit upgrades and security lighting in Ongata Rongai, quoted after a site visit.
